Technology- Some Software which one should have in there kitty

In todays world when we carry our Office with us while travelling we need to equip ourselves with some reqularly used softwares which serves our purpose.

Document editing : Open Office seems to be a open source office management software whcih mimics Microsoft Office. It allows you to edit documents , view spreadsheets presentation slides etc... Due to its compact size it can be carried in a pen drive easily.

Media Player: Sometimes when we are surfign the net the most common problem we encounter is a missing codec for playing a particular av format file. In Microsoft Windows Media Player you need to have the code decoder (codec) with you. VLC is another compact software which virtually plays all the available av formats without a hitch.

Edit Plus: This is the most commonly used editor which is very compact and performs a lot activities in a single pack. It has an extensive search engines program which enables different kinds of options for searching and replacing.
